Vaping Troubles (lemmy.world)
submitted 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago) by MiddleAgesModem@lemmy.world to c/trees@lemmy.world

I'm trying to switch to vaping oil. I've started using the UNI Pro 2.0. I can't stop these extended coughing fits. I have it at the lowest voltage. I pre-heat. I take a very short hit. But more often than not, I ended up coughing for 15 minutes.

Was really looking forward to transitioning to vaping but have been extremely disappointed. Is there anything that cane be done about this or should I just back to combustion?

Did you smoke pure or spliffs? Loads of people have trouble smoking/vaping straight herb after smoking mostly herb/tobacco mixes before. They aren’t used to the harsher weed smoke without the nicotine numbing their throat.

That is spot on! I grew up in the 90s with mixed joints, I can't smoke pure herbs without throwing a fit. It is somewhat tolerable with a good vape and long hardened homegrown, but I still prefer my oldschool bong-mix. At least we have active coal filters these days...
