I really hope this isn't a copy paste of that Reddit legend lol. Otherwise I love your story! I love these birds more, the more I read about them.
In my part of the world in South Africa, the only corvid type I ever (seldomly) see around is the Pied Crow. They're also fairly large and I wouldn't want to mess with an aggressive one. I've never really heard of people befriending them or having any particular trouble with them around here though. And I only ever see one, maybe two at a time.
Nope, no copy pasta, true story!
Jackdaws are super common around here.
