All I want to know right now is, what was their price?

So much less than you'd expect. I read a report years ago about John Deere lobbyists buying off senators and representatives about the "Right To Repair" bills that were defeated at the time.

The lowest payout was $500. Not $5,000. $500. That was given to something like 4 representatives. The highest payout was to the Senator from New York or Massachusetts for $250,000. The mean payout ended up being $15,000 to a total of something like 44 to 64 representatives and senators.

In this case I would expect the mean payout to be $50,000 because a couple of them took way too little and caved.

They were all safe, either retiring or elections far off.

This is the kind of shit that will make a 3rd party viable. Call it the progressive party. Democrats certainly aren't.

I respect what you're doing here but somehow I don't see threats against Democrats being taken seriously.

Well, I take them seriously. If no one else does, then that's on them. But even tho I'm republican, I am not gonna just sit around and watch people ask for dem senators address so they can go "behead" them or teach them what "violent revolution" can do.

I report, do my part, move on. I can only do what I can do.
