How do you feel about Flatpak? Do you like having universal packages separated from the operating system, or do you regret how much space they take? (piefed.zip)

I was reading a bit about it recently, seems like there two positions are valid, curious to see what people here think.

Lukewarm.

If I can install the program from a .deb I'll do it, even if it's outdated in comparison with the flatpak version. But if there's only a flatpak version I'll use it.
