The Justice Department is seeking 33 years in prison for Enrique Tarrio, the former Proud Boys leader convicted of seditious conspiracy in one of the most serious cases to emerge from the Jan. 6, 2021, attack on the U.S. Capitol, according to court documents filed Thursday.

He led the neo-fascist group — known for street fights with left-wing activists — when Trump infamously told the Proud Boys to “stand back and stand by” during his first debate with Democrat Joe Biden.

I still want the actual leaders to spend more time in jail than their followers.

Given that Tarrio wasn't even in DC on Jan 6, convicting him at all was a big win.

Is that Trump's best defense too? That since he was away from the actual scene of the crime he can't be held accountable? Never mind that he led and supported the insurrection movement?
