Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.
  4. Vote based on comment quality, not agreement. This community aims to foster discussion; please reward people for putting effort into articulating their viewpoint, even if you disagree with it.

All posts and comments will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. This means that some content that violates the rules may be allowed, while other content that does not violate the rules may be removed. The moderators retain the right to remove any content and ban users.

That's all the rules!

That guy is just so weird. There are xtians that literally think that people like Thiel should be put to death, by the government. And Thiel has aligned himself with weirdo xtian mythology.

People like Thiel used to have to stand out on a corner with a sign and some pamphlets and most people would steer clear. Maybe cross the street, point and snicker a bit.

Now crazies like him have billions and can buy politicians outright and have access to platforms to lie and distort in a narrowcasting way...

Sadly Thiel was always like this and always able to endear himself to wealthy people and that's how they got him to invest large amounts of money in his companies. Now that he and his buddies have more money than God they can be their truest selves at all times.

I find it so weird that people like Fuentes and Thiel don't think they'll be at risk if they bring about the kind of nightmare scenarios they seemingly want. Fuentes is not only gay, but Mexican.

The people that are in their camp right now have plenty among them that will gladly purge them when it comes time for it. Doesn't matter how many followers or how much is in their bank account: there is a certain kind of xtian that wants to be empowered by the government to murder all gays.

I suppose Thiel thought he'd hole up in New Zealand or something, but...with crazy-eyed zealots, I would not put anything past the extent to which they will go in their murderous aims. And it looks like he gave up on NZ so not sure what his new bunker plans are.
