Nah, people say that to make you not wanna vote third party. If everyone voted third party, then we'd have a viable third party.
You don't think a third party would get traction of everyone voted for it? Trust me, it'd get traction. People need to stop thinking it can't happen, or it will never happen. That's how you got Trump, by the way. Look at all the people who didn't even vote. Imaging if they would have voted third party. The numbers would prove that third parties are viable.
Dude, you gotta face it. People are afraid to take a risk. Every fucking election it's: "Oh sure, third parties would be awesome. But not THIS election. THIS election is too important. Next time!"
Every. Fucking. Election.
You keep on being afraid and scratching your head. I'll keep laughing at how the duopoly is failing you. :)
Let me know when that fantasy you described becomes a reality and I'll be happy to vote third party alongside you. Until then, I'm stuck voting for the least bad option.
Yeah, and while you keep voting for the least bad option, don't be mad when people like Trump win. Because that's the exact mindset that caused his win. I voted third party last election, so none of it's my fault! lol
Thats an interesting way to think of it. I think the complete opposite. I am actually one of the reasons Trump became president in 2016. I wasted my vote and voted third party in a swing state in 2016.
Voting for who you like, isn't a wasted vote. It's the point of voting. The duopoly wants you to be afraid to vote third party. That's how they stay in power.
You're falling for their fear. It's part of their plan.
Not me. I'll keep on voting third party. Every. Single. Time. :)
Probably not much a point in continuing as we seem to live in different realities here.
You enjoy losing. Every. Single. Time :)
Ok! You too! (How'd the last election work out for ya?) :)
Worked out well in 2020 and in 2022 (Governor), win some you lose some. 3rd party loses them all.
Yeah, but the difference is, I don't mind Trump winning, because you all deserve it for being spinless. So when I lose, I take pride in it because i wasn't afraid to vote for who I wanted to. :)
I spent election night laughing.
OK, sounds like you like losing, can't argue with that. Have a good one.
Nah, it's not that I like losing, it's that I'm not afraid of losing. Big difference. I vote for who I think is best for the job, not out of fear of who is worst for the job. :)
This is such a strange conversation. Do you really think you are some brave soul and everyone else is afraid to vote third party and isnt just being pragmatic?
I vote for the dems because they actually have a chance of winning and they are the least bad option. I'm not afraid, not sure why you keep saying that. Thats pretty much the end of it.
So you vote for people you think have best chance of winning. I vote for people who fit my values and who I want to be president.
Feel free to keep doing what you're doing and help prop up the Duopoly. That's EXACTLY what they want you to do. That's EXACTLY how they want you to think.
Not me, I'll vote for who I want to be president. Every time. That's pretty much the end of it.
I vote for who closest fits my values and has a chance of being president. With your strategy you might as well just vote for yourself.
Hmmmm, funny you mention that. I just so happen to have a little bit of experience with that. And I won (a while ago). So no, not all third party candidates lose. :)
