It's been awhile since I last brought a CD and it was Meteora by Linkin Park. I'm very late when it comes with listening to music, flim and TV-Shows in general but I did really enjoy that album so much and need to listen more to their music. Feel free to suggest me some music from theirs to check out. There's something nice about actually owning the physical media instead on hoping various streaming services wouldn't have them removed. I tend to rip my CDs and store them in .flac format which is little overkill but I see it as if I want to play it on my phone, I can convert it to .mp3 to save storage on my phone which I can hear the difference if I'm focusing on the drums but otherwise, it's does the job done and sound alright.

One of my favourite things about collecting physical media in general is bonus content, even if it meh at best. For example, 'Oops... I Did It Again' is 'enhanced CD' which has wallpaper, crappy Flash screensaver for Windows and highly compressed Lucky music video. For DVD version of Tomb Raider, there's demo for Tomb Raider Chronicles.

Well I do not collect anything because I am broke. But I had some old stuff (pirated cds from ye olde days before streaming was mainstream), and suggest to rip the cd contents to some modern storage (portable ssd or hard disk, or some other kind of storage), mostly because that way they do not take physical space (you can give the cd away to someone who may find it useful), and digital copy can have multiple backups and less likely to age poorly (think cd getting read errors as more scratches forms from usage).
