Ok, could someone please explain the meme.

[–] cm0002@lemmy.zip 42 points 6 days ago (1 children)

The popular meme is your partner asking you "Would you still love me if I was a worm?"

This comic is a joke on the continuation of that meme and is why the bouncer is crying

Which is the silliest question ever. Who wouldn't want a girlfriend who eats dirt and can crawl down your urethra?

I think I’m done for the day

Night night. Sweet worms.

And lo... The heavens paused and the firmament shook as a new phrase, never having been thought nor uttered by any other of the Universe's vast creations, was birthed into existence by a metallic_substance, and read by a dude on the shitter... And it was wonderous. Bravo.

There was a meme that gained some traction a while back about girls asking their boyfriends if they would still love them if they were a worm.

In the words of Space King: That's retarded

Wait are we at a point where people are calling all comics "memes"

[–] scratchee@feddit.uk 5 points 5 days ago* (last edited 5 days ago)

I mean… “would you love me if I was a worm?” was a textbook meme.

And then there’s the fact that “meme” really means “an idea shared by humans that survives by a process reminiscent of natural selection”, so yeah, all comics shared on here are competing memes, by the original definition.

Yes. Any image shared on any media is meme.

Just call it an image then.
