A place to discuss and support all Steam Hardware, including Steam Deck, Steam Machine, Steam Frame, and SteamOS in general.
As Lemmy doesn't have flairs yet, you can use these prefixes to indicate what type of post you have made, eg:

If your post is only relevant to one hardware device (Deck/Machine/Frame/etc) please specify which one as part of the title or by using a device flair.
These are not enforced, but they are encouraged.
Rules:
- Follow the rules of Sopuli
- Posts must be related to Steam Hardware or Steam OS in an obvious way.
- No piracy, there are other communities for that.
- Discussion of emulators are allowed, but no discussion on how to illegally acquire ROMs.
- This is a place of civil discussion, no trolling.

Cool, makes sense to me.
I'm a little worried about the Frame since VR (and especially the whole x86 to ARM) might be too big a difference to this comm, but IMO it's fine to cross that bridge when we get there.
Maybe the Frame gets it's own comm and this stays for the more conventional (?) Hardware like the Deck, Machine and Controller since they're so closely tied together?
Proton was a big difference too. It seem to be really opening doors for more Linux stuff. You should dig into the config this thing can do much and the did the same for arm Linux. They reduced the work by conbining the part. I wonder if big company would pay a service to get steam-os with hardware customizations to ship with their handheld
