$20 for abandoned game? Yeah.
Calling it "abandoned" is a little silly when you're replying to a post literally about the game being worked on, isn't it?
Not only that, this is free if you previously bought any of the 3 expansions. If you didn't, and don't want to now, this announcement really isn't for you, and there's nothing wrong with that.
It's a game that wasn't updated since 2007? And the only new things in 18 years are some grapics updates and very minor qol updates. I'm just saying that the price is insanely high.
It's a price reduction. It's cheaper than it has been for the past 20 years. For a quality MMO with no subscription fee or microtransactions that they've been running servers for for 20 years. I'd say it's quite fair.
I am a gw fan, it's just insane that not only they sell it still (it should be bundled with dragons saga or whatever the complete bundlefor gw2 is called) people say that it's somehow generous. Running this game costs them close to nothing, that's why it's still available.
I guess the price is doing its job of keeping toxic people away. Well done arenanet.
I have a license of it, and pointing out that price is too much for what it offers isn't toxic.
