You'd think it would involve katanas and beheading or something like you'd see in the movies. Nope, hanging. The Japanese death penalty is typically hanging. Wild, I know. No swords involved. Sorry if this ruins your Monday. I know I was disappointed. Sometimes movies lie, though.
