Nope. I love a lot of aspects of this show. I'm not a fan of forcing a show to last x amount of seasons but we'll see how it pans out long term. For now I'm enjoying every single episode and I can't wait until the next one comes out. It's not without its flaws but it brings a lot of fresh aspects to the table.

Is saying you have a four season plan the same as forcing a show to last x number of seasons? Four isn't some arbitrary number, it's how many seasons the creator of the show thinks it will take. Vince wants to tell a story and he is saying I need four seasons of episodes to do it.

It's not a hard limit, but on the other hand it is an agreed amount of time between stakeholders which carries weight and expectations. Creative work does tend to defy fitting into time constraints. I'm not saying it's impossible to harmonize agreed time and creative work, but an agreed time constraint will be impactful in the creative work itself. We've all seen so many instances of excellent series turning average because they dragged for too long, or terrible endings because they ran out of time or had the carpet pulled out of their feet.
