Dang, that's a little disappointing. Are you able to take off your headset mid-game and switch to desktop mode?

The way SteamVR handles it, yeah—you're already in desktop mode all the time while also streaming VR to the headset.

Okay cool! I think I could manage that fine. I just won a bid on a PSVR2 set so I'm super excited!

I lied, the "monitor mode" is still tracking the headset position, so you should restart the game, but it's okay for small things like menuing or whatever

Gotcha, thanks for testing it. If I really wanted to be jank, I could switch to m&k+monitor on the headset passthrough and keep my headset on to look forward... but I think I'll just follow your advice.
