General Discussion for politics in the UK.
Please don't post to both !uk_politics@feddit.uk and !unitedkingdom@feddit.uk .
Pick the most appropriate, and put it there.

Posts should be related to UK-centric politics, and should be either a link to a reputable news source for news, or a text post on this community.

Opinion pieces are also allowed, provided they are not misleading/misrepresented/drivel, and have proper sources.

If you think "reputable news source" needs some definition, by all means start a meta thread. (These things should be publicly discussed)

Posts should be manually submitted, not by bot. Link titles should not be editorialised.

Disappointing comments will generally be left to fester in ratio, outright horrible comments will be removed.
Message the mods if you feel something really should be removed, or if a user seems to have a pattern of awful comments.

Let me know if there's evidence he diddled kids, rather than being associated with someone who did...

Meantime there is actual news about how awful farage is.

I think the network of connections is still significant even if there's no evidence he was raping kids. Epstein to Bannon to Farage and Tommy Robinson: there's money from all over the world concentrated through these people into undermining the UK and other democracies.

@floofloof @FishFace the Quiet Riot podcast was discussing their utter consternation (surprise is the wrong word) that in the same year Starmer couldn't accept so much as a pair of trousers from a donor, and Reeves and Rayner were being leapt on for everything, Farage has accepted a £9m crypto donation (90% of Reform's funding for the year) and nobody has pushed him on what influence that has bought, or what went on with Nathan Gill and the Russian bribes.

To me it comes down to how often. Sure maybe you went to a party before anyone knew about this guy once or even went to his island or something when he invited you but I find it hard to believe someone went to his island and decided to go back or keep hanging with him or going to his parties. Had to have some wierd vibes there.

What is there concrete?

There is BOUND to be dodgy money (quite possibly not illegal money due to the UK's weak laws in this area) funding farage but just being mentioned alongside these other fucks isn't evidence of it

🤣😂😅 if you've come here for evidence you're in for a rude awakening my friend.

Epstein just had political analysis reports which were talking about Brexit. He wasn't associated to Epstein.
