it looks like they glued two stainless steel plates together and it withstood the force needed to tow a mid-size sedan (on an incline). The impressiveness is probably due to the fact it's produced from leftover cooking oil and they mention that it "rivals" and is "comparable to" commercial EVA glue.

But yeah nothing about the surface area of those steel plates. But I think you can assume temperature is room temperature.
