I looked away and ditched Microsoft for Linux and all my headaches went away
right? SOOO many problems are gone. shit I did t even know was a problem, was illuminated as a windows problem when I changed to Linux
I'm getting old, lose the mouse cursor. I shake the mouse, wow, the cursor is huge. I can see where it is and keep working. dumb crap like that but honestly it's user features that are useful... not bloated trash
also LOVING pulse audio and how easy I can manipulate everything. pissed off my discord friends by looping REPO (game) audio, back into REPO (game). they were all super confused.
I plug in a monitor with HDMI... is suddenly doesn't become my main speaker for some dumb reason... or the pa4 controller. that's not my microphone/speaker Microsoft... stop trying to think for me. useless they are
This has to be the first time I've seen praise for Linux audio rather than gripes - I'm glad to see it.
yeah I've heard nonstop horrid things about it. but oipewire with qwgraph. amazing. I can't stop tinkering. I honestly feel like I have more control over my audio.
I am using qwgraph which is making it super easy since it's drag/drop from pipes to programs etc.
It does for sure have issues, but a quick reload and it's back to normal. usually won't auto load my settings so I have to manually load it.
Well that looks cool, now I have to check that out. Thanks for sharing!
