Who exactly is "we"? I see users doing all the things you mention, all the time, and there doesn't seem to be any reason to think they're getting negative blowback. Except in cases where they seem to be focusing their attack on Democrats alone, or equating the parties. And I doubt anyone is getting banned for even doing those things, just criticized.
