I know it's better in theory than Reddit but maaaaan it's so lonely here sometimes! So many communities are just a ghost town. It's so bad that I (normally a lurker) am motivated enough to get out of my cave and post. We need more active text only post subs cause I'm just soo sick of news links :/ we also need more active friend making subs fr.

If anybody is out there, hi ๐Ÿ‘‹. We probably have very different life experiences, but that doesn't mean we can't chat lol

Idk. I guess there's !matrix_friends@lemmy.ml, !makenewfriendshere@lemmy.world, and !friendship@lemmy.ml but like I said they're pretty dead :/

For now casual conversation, just post, and Dull men's club are the best options. But they're not really for chatting, but posting. I doubt they'd ban you for soliciting PMs but maybe.
