Banned from r/news for deleting a 10 year old comment with redact. Guess the mods there have no backbone. No big deal to me since I'm deleting my account soon but be aware.

You can consider your Reddit account permabanned too. Powermods will typically report any "backtalk" to the Reddit admins which basically will get you permabanned no matter your infraction history.l
That's fine with me I was deleting it on the 30th anyhow. Plus this should highlight the pathetic atmosphere over there for anyone who is on the fence about leaving.
I think I just made the decision to start editing and then deleting. This is gross.
make sure not to delete your account yet, they are restoring deleted and edited comments and posts
Yep will hold off on deleting the account until I’m sure they are finished reverting our content updates/edits. Just finished editing over 11 years of comments/posts with redact.dev
