I was literally just thinking this. Like. Remember back when the guys assasinating folks were the nutters.
A broken clock is right twice a day.
A working one is right way more often.
What if it’s working perfectly, just set wrong?
I'd say that it's not working perfectly then.
A clock's purpose is to tell the current time in the timezone you wanna know the time of. If an object does not fullfil its purpose, I'd say it's not working correctly. Therefore, a clock that is set wrong is not working correctly.
Luckily, it is a very easy condition to fix! Just set it correctly and your clock will work perfectly.
Yeah, but you do get that this is a common saying, right?
I know. But that only applies when the metaphorical clock is broken.
