So first of all. I do own the game since beta. But I have been increasingly interested in the cracked versions of Minecraft. The main reason is all the age verification BS that's going on right now. I know for Minecraft this is just for Xbox right now. But I do suspect it to spill over to the java edition.

As someone who owns and runs multiple modded Minecraft servers. I wonder what are the current best cracked launchers which also support modding. Which are are safe and would you guys recommend?

Thanks for this. Was going through alternatives some months ago and never found this one. All of us have accounts but we didn’t feel comfortable with Microsoft peeping.

It’s like, we bought the game almost two decades ago, I’m hosting the server on my hardware and on my network. Why the fuck does Microsoft need to peep in on that?

Yeah it's weird that they feel entitled to do that. It's also a bit sad that a large portion of the community essentially accepts it. Well I mean that isn't exactly true. In other places alternate authlib services like BlessingSkin and LittleSkin are very popular (mainly just for getting skins, not as use for auth) but beyond that you don't see any real push to break away from Microsoft.
