He already got it. That's the only reason a company "backpedals". Saying this shit is only to save face so no one leaves. You know, because we're all stupid and believe everything rich people teal us.

Bad thing is we're not immune in Lemmy. Sometimes I wonder if my 900 security counter measures ever leak. I tried to go to a site to test it one time, but my features were so tight that I couldn't even load the test page. At least it's worth less to them than data off Facebook with some anonymity.
