I feel so bad for the troops.

The vile child rapist and murdering slug will sit back and wait for the troops to be virtually annihilated. Then he will gleefully golf as Iran does a major attack on us soil. He will then enact the war bill (don’t know what it is called, I am not american) to stop voting.

Edit: I should be saying I feel bad for all people involved. I think I got lost in the moment.

He’d have to declare martial law to suspend voting.

In theory, there would need to be a clear national emergency, such as a ground invasion of the United States or open rebellion to allow for martial law to be declared.

I don’t think Iran is going to launch an amphibious assault against the United States any time soon.

Declaring martial law does not suspend voting. Nothing gives the president that power, and the constitution grants no condition for elections to be paused or not held. Full stop.

Conceding on this AT ALL gives them leverage.

Im not sure you quite understand this, but the rule book has been thrown out the window. If he says it, it be that way. Nobody is now or will in the future stand up to him.

Oh I know. But truth and words matter. We cannot let them control the narrative, and we cannot let the less educated have it in their head that an emergency is all it takes. We have to hold the line.

you know those guys didnt have to sign up to murder innocents? its on them.

Unfortunately it may also be the only way they can afford to get an education, via the G.I bill. I think anyone who signed up before the Trump re-election was not expecting to be ordered to kill innocents.

Stop making excuses for awful immoral behavior.

Every US soldier that is neutralized in Iran will not be there to fight in another unjust war... so, my sympathy to those people is limited.
