I wonder how these alt Pis are flaring in common Pi work (like running Home Assistant). I had a Banana Pi once, it was half the cost two times the power, but had way too many issues to be worth it.

I almost bought a Banana Pi because of the price! But was early days and just not a lot of documentation. I'm still learning my way, so at this stage I need all the documenation and help I can get. But I'd still like a small collection of alt Pis.

Mine was an early M2 variant, it was without docs and even the image was removed from the offical site. I used a headless raspbian which was unstable, but it worked for years as a home server, until a lightingstrike fried it...
