U.S. President Donald Trump said Friday that Russian President Vladimir Putin may be providing limited support to Iran, while also dismissed the idea that the U.S. would rely on Ukraine’s experience in countering Iranian Shahed drones. "No, we don’t need their help on drone defense," Trump said. Zelenskyy previously said the U.S. had sought Ukraine’s expertise in responding to Iranian-made drones used by Russia in the war.

His destruction of the US isn't literal in that the US will cease to exist. If it gets real bad, like civil war bad, there will still be a military, and there will be lots of radicalization. Think about how the middle east was destabilized by the US in the 80s, 90s, and onward, and then think if that was good for the world. Now imagine if that happened to the US instead. The "world police" won't stop being bastards, it will likely just get more heinous, like bombing little girl schools, which is an escalation from the previous atrocities committed.

So your argument is because America wasn't destroyed, the middle east was destabliized for 2 dacades(though I'd say it's closer to 6 decades) so America shouldn't be destroyed because it will become how it is now?

Not what I'm saying at all. I'm saying America won't be destroyed, it will morph to something else, something that will likely be more radical than it is now. I don't think anyone should want that, but that is what Trump is doing. He's not destroying the bad stuff, he's actively bolstering that and killing the good stuff. I'm not defending America at all, just pointing out that it can and will get worse on this current path.

Yeah, I see your point. It's definitely my accelerationist side speaking, and I did think that right after 9/11 that Americans would see what they're doing around the world. I was way off on that one, and America went further into destroying the world. But we do seem to be turning, at least public wise. Politicians, not so much. But there's definitely way less support for for the Iran war than there was for Iraq/Afghanistan. That's also where part of my belief comes from. I don't think the Iranian people can do anything to improve their situation. Their only option is for the American empire to crumble, and I might have some good news for the, cause we are destroying ourselves from the inside, and much of it because we are overexpanding ourselves militarily too much.
