I don't remember precisely, but it was just a little aside in the humor section of a pretty casual magazine. Back in the days when you could say "Wow guys, look at this funny thing I found on the internet!" and then print it out for thousands of other people, and people would continue to pay for the subscription.

... what a bizarre transitional period.
