First time building a PC. The only somewhat reasonably priced DDR5 ram in my area was 2x 8GB SODIMM for 50 bucks.

I didn’t even realize that SO-DIMM to DIMM adapters were a thing, that’s a cool solution!

Yeah, in the before times they were just a tool to test SODIMM if you're some kind of engineer working on that. Now they're actually sold commercially haha
