Possibly. But at least it is a grey area, not obviously illegal. Unlike e.g. Iran shooting random third party civilian ships in an international shipping lane, which is unambiguously illegal.
Yes, but Cuba never did this whereas the US attacked a defenseless ship returning from war games and killed 87 Iranian sailors.
The US has also been attacking civilian fishing ships claiming they are narco terrorists summarily executing civilians without trial.
Not very grey areas.
It was a warship in a war. So fuck the US in general, but that is a bad example of illegality.
Yes, that was also illegal. But that was not part of the Cuba embargo.
The US is doing a lot of illegal shit right now. But if you want to argue that the US is doing illegal shit related to Cuba, you need to actually cite examples related to Cuba.
Bullshit, that was a straight up a war crime. Iran never declared war and we just attacked them for no legal reason whatsoever.
It is a fucking warship in international waters - if it is a war, then it is a valid target.
The US's war as a whole is illegitimate, I agree. So if you want to complain about illegality then argue that, instead of an attack on a legitimate military target inside the war - that is silly.
The US murdered those sailors, knew they were defenseless, and did not inform anyone and let them drown. Fucking horrible.
I am done giving the US any leeway with the way they have been acting. Department of War, lethality, and the rest of their garbage.
Playing with the lives of the Cuban people for no reason other than they can. It is disgusting, they did nothing to deserve this.
