Explanation: The man who betrayed the Greeks at the Battle of Thermopylae, leading the Persian forces to outflank them through a narrow mountain pass, Ephialtes, had a bounty placed on his head by Sparta for it.

The man who eventually killed Ephialtes apparently did it for reason of a private, unrelated feud. The Spartans paid him the bounty anyway. A kill is a kill!
