Okay... how do I know if I'm affected?
https://blog.phylum.io/rust-malware-staged-on-crates-io/ is a better article with details.
If you didn't misspell a package name, like postgres with two 's'es, you're fine. If you did, they may have gotten your IP and OS version.
It looks like it was caught pretty quickly, before any real damage could be done.
