I'm moving on from a Kindle Oasis and looking at the Boox Go 7 since Boox runs android, but wondering if there is a better option out there?

I have a Boox Go Color 7 and love it! The batter lasts for ever and an android e-ink tablet is wonderful. I haven't used KOreader on it, but I use it for comics/manga via Kahon (through F-droid) and use the default e-reader app for books.

Oh that's great to hear thanks. How is the contrast for regular black and white on the Color 7?

It's great! I suspect the contrast as just as good as the non-color model. I don't have it in front of me, but IIRC you can also adjust the contrast settings to whatever you need.
