This is something I would justify putting on a credit card. If all four tires are badly worn it can become both a safety issue as well as an increasingly more expensive issue later on.
im not sure I would do credit card but I would certainly do this over niceties. like I don't go out or do a lot of things other people do so I can do things like this.
