FoxTrot is an American comic strip written and illustrated by Bill Amend. The strip launched on April 10, 1988, and it originally ran seven days a week. From December 31, 2006 onwards, FoxTrot has only appeared on Sundays.

The strip revolves around the daily lives of the Fox family, composed of parents Andrea (Andy) and Roger and their children, Peter, Paige, and Jason. It covers a wide range of subject matter, including spoofs of pop culture fads, nerd culture, complex math, and popular consumer products.

Oolala, the strip was really getting good at this point, even though the character designs had a ways to go. Seriously, despite this being a nationally-known and enjoyed strip, I feel like it's still underrated in some ways, and is arguably one of the great modern strips, for my money.

Side note: Brasilian rapper Major RD evidently didn't see this comic. Problem? Well... while performing on stage in late '24, he happened to step on a dormant flame machine (the kind that shoots ignited gas like 12ft in the air) and it... went live, just as he was passionately hunkered forward, emoting to the crowd. (guess he didn't know about semi-active volcanoes, either)

There's video (and fortunately it wasn't much worse than his facial hair getting instantly crisped), but... for some reason the only video I can find is at the evil empire, so I'll let yon readers search it up as they like!
