Yes, I absolutely do think that. Exhibit A are all the people in this thread that think attempted murder is an acceptable penalty for a child riding recklessly on a bicycle. Seeing as cops tend to have far less empathy than the human average, I would expect them to be less worried about civilian safety than the people in this thread. The folks in this thread are advocating summary execution for traffic violations, so I see no reason a cop wouldn't do the same.
People fall off motorbikes all the time, and usually get a few bruises, if that. If riding a motorbike was anywhere near as dangerous as you think, it would be considered an extreme sport.
Ususally there are not 30+ other Bikes in very close Proximity when you fall of. The Argument isnt, that a bike with a flat tire will Explode in Flames, it is, that in this Situation the first bike would get significantly slowed down by a flat tire, the second bike would crash into the first and a few other bikes would then run over the fallen down. Perfectly Predictably.
Once again, that's on the riders behind. These dumbasses fall off by themselves often enough that they should be ready for that.
