The only thing that's changed about the moon is a handful of robots, some chunks of various materials left behind, and footprints. None of which are visible to our eyes.
Anyone reading this can travel for quite some time and not be able to find something that's remained undisturbed for several millennia.
There have probably been a couple of meteor impacts, too!
I'm positive there have been! The moon has done a very nice job of catching meteors over the eons. It gets pelted by space debris every time we get meteor showers.
But none large enough for us to notice with our eyes.
