Like the title indicates, I want to try out something new for this community: a (more or less) monthly thread where we can just write what we think.
This can be about something you want to share but did not find a fitting place for it, general chatting about whatever, or feedback about this community.

I didn't mean to say this week cause there's no event this week but in the incoming weeks there's around three meet up that I can go to if I really want to (I won't go to all three lel).

I don't use Arch yet, I'm only on Debian at the moment, but I used Arch and I'll use Arch (cause that's basically what I prefered).

Yup, the AI thing is annoying, they should all make open-source LLM models so it's not a proprietary thing anymore and so they can't generate profit on it rather than making it serves humanity purpose.

Well, if you do it now it sure won't cost as much as what it will next month, but it's probably gonna be more than by the end of 2027. Also, I need to remind that it's just predictions, so it might not actually be the case as we can't know the future.

Same, I'm expecting to buy a camera soon enough.

No problem, it's a great idea I think to do something like this. It kind of bring the YouTube checkpoint vibe in this community.
