Because of the State Department’s actions and the Trump administration’s relentless policies seeking to eradicate trans identity from all aspects of civic life, many have interpreted the State Department’s apology for deadnaming the lake as a sarcastic joke mocking trans people

Im glad they figured out that deadnaming is not okay. Now lets see if they stick to the idea that if people go by a new name, they shouldnt continue using the old name.

Glad we can move past all of this and agree that the new team names are permanent:

Cleveland Guardians
Washington Commanders

Dont ever use the old names ever again

They also seem to be claiming that the lake has chosen this name for itself. I wonder who in their administation is claiming to divine the desires of large bodies of waters - an important discovery if true!
