If you're really worried about being accused of using AI, and you won't be able to handle it if it happens, then don't publish anything, because it is definitely going to happen. Too many people are convinced they have some perfect litmus test, and they're wrong, but they don't know it.
But really, I think you can handle it. You know you didn't use AI, and at the end of the day are you writing for yourself or for an imagined audience?
Random people making wrong accusations doesn't really constitute a "hatestorm", does it?
That seems like a personal definition, and a pointless thing to nitpick over, because you're not going to find it in Merriam-Webster.
