I prefer the look on the right… I don't really need women to look like a Star Trek character
99% of the time women look prettier without heavy makeup. That's just my opinion that nobody asked for though 🤷♀️

Studio makeup is on a whole different level. If you saw an actor in stage makeup you would swear they are wearing a mask. It's designed to look good under harsh lighting. Btw Kate Mulgrew has a face full of freckles.
