Japanese schools are cleaned by the students, they lack the beatings as far as I know.

Abuse is in the details. Given the "attack a fellow student" line I think they've lost the benefit of the doubt.

I was referring to my linked article.

Japanese schools are cleaned by the students, they (aka the Japanese schools) lack the beatings as far as I know.
