The part that still blows my mind is that video was one of his more normal encounters with law enforcement.....

He escaped from police custody multiple times. That particular incident was a case of mistaken identity where the cops thought he was some massively wanted ganster or something. He had a party for Hitler. Those are just some of the highlights I remember off the top of my head.
His entire life is just a wild sequence of events that really belongs in a "Mr. Toad's wild Ride," type theme park rollercoaster that is a biography of what not to do, if one wants a normal life.
