They never told her explicitly she was trespassed and just told her she can either pay the bill and leave

If somebody asks you to leave their private property and you stay, that is trespassing. I’m not aware of the need to use the word “tresspass”. Not a lawyer.

Someone asks you to leave and says they’re calling the cops? Staying is a game of chicken you’re going to lose.
