VTM:B was my first introduction to VTM in any capacity and boy was it an introduction. I am now the world's hugest WOD nerd. The game is janky as all hell but the characters drive it so forcefully that I barely cared... for most of the game. The end parts of it are... rough. But up until the last few hours of the game the characters and atmosphere carry it all magnificently.
It's still one of my very favorite retro games now, though. First time through the Ocean House Hotel was an experience to remember, and the Malkavian dialogue trees are some of my favorite fourth wall breaking of all time.
