Since June 5, the ceo of twitter has been Linda Yaccarino. So, mission accomplished?

I can only assume this is a glass cliff maneuver from musk

Not yet. The company is still under Musk's control because he owns it, and he's also chairman. Also, the person who launched the petition may not be aware of this.

The petition is 9 months old. When it was started, EM has just taken over.
