Have you ever missed or misread a rule and ended up playing several games the wrong way before you noticed?

For me this is the Harbinger card from Dominion 2nd Edition. We played it not strictly following the from top to bottom. So you could look through your discard and then immediately draw it with the same card. It was super broken.

Or playing Milita but you always have to discard 2 cards, even if you are already at 3 or less. It was supid.

Nice. I wonder what would be a balanced coin cost for the broken version of Harbinger. 5 or 6 maybe?

Haha, I think 6 would be even cheap. It is insanely power to look through the discard, grab a gold and, oh wonder!, immediately draw it :D
