it could have been cheaper if it were mass adopted and subsidized enough

Probably. I do travel around that distance a couple times a year, stop only for washrooms and petrol as needed.

Do I? We usually travel with pets. So manatee rest stops for them. Usually try and go 2-3 hours at a time.

at least fit..ah i see. maybe i also assumed u would do it with one stop at most. Well, truck drivers drive 11 hours per day for a living, with half an hour at most for a stop. If a ride is comfy enough, and has automatic, a trip would be all smooth sailing.
