What happend to the Foraging Community on Lemmy? (lemmy.world)

Title is really the question, I swear the Foraging community was more or less thriving the other week I checked it. What happened to it? Did it merge with this one or?

I really don't know what happened to the previous one, nor do I know who created it (is there a way to check this?) I wouldn't mind creating a new one though, but not sure if its really necessary if this community exist? I guess it depends on the mods thoughts?

Mycology is more about the science of fungi. There's clearly intersections but I think it would be weird if this mutated into a foraging community. Can you link to the foraging community you were talking about?

I created a new one, as the previous one seems to be completely gone. I can see that all my previous posts from the community are also gone :(

Maybe for now we can just turn !herbalism@slrpnk.net into Herbalism/Foraging. They are so closely related.

Finding dedicated mods who are experts will be crucial to saving lives and making sure people aren’t risking poisoning themselves

I would, with my limited but sometimes useful knowledge (source: haven't poisoned myself and have stared at plants and mushrooms and eaten some for twenty years).
