Any chance of iPhone getting a “desktop mode”? (alien.top)

Now that iPhones support display and keyboard/mouse over usb-c does anyone think we might see a “desktop mode” coming soon? I know it won’t look like macOS, but maybe an aspect ratio that fits the monitor with a look more like iPad.
