Do you really need more than 8GB of Ram on a 13in MacBook Air? (alien.top)

I am going to be purchasing a MacBook in January and have pretty much decided on the 13in Air but do you really need 16GB of ram? It will be used for School Work, Gaming and Photo editing.

Yes, if you can afford it go for it, another benefit some people forget is that it increases your machine lifespan, as having only 8GB of RAM will cause lots of SSD writes due to swap usage, that degrades the SSD faster, and replacing it is very expensive because it’s soldered on.
